Want to try a team sport, make new friends or just feeling rusty? Then Winter Baseball is a great option.

The The Original Open Market inc Cubs are into their 3rd year and are inviting everyone, both ladies and gents aged 15 and over to come out and try Baseball for a 90 minute session. Just turn up on the day in comfortable clothes and sneakers. Bring a drink, hat and sunscreen if a warm day.

This day is primarily for new players that want to learn the basics of the game. From throwing, catching, hitting and the rules. We will show you all there is to know and answer any questions.

If you enjoy the day then the following week will be with everyone and you can learn alot more from other experienced players.

So if you’re keen on playing with a fun new local team then come on down to diamond 2 at Peregrine Park from 1.30pm.

The grounds are located off Peregrine Crescent in Christie Downs (Besides the Christie Downs Railway Station).
